Born in Tione (Tn), studied fine art in L.A.S.of Bergamo. Pupil of Bonetti and after of Fabio Maria Linari, he studied sculpture and painting in the academy of fine art in Brera Milan.
Since 1996 he took part in a number of exhibitions around Italy and his work can be found in private collections around Europe.
As the founder of a contemporary art movement he is part of Expo Milano where he exhibits a biographical exhibition in Lucio Fontana’s personal studio in Milan 2007 sculpture installation in Bonola (hypermarket in Milan) with the artistic collective L.I.T.
Simone Torri has been a personal portraitist for several celebrities and royals around the world such as HRH Princess Nilu of Persia, His Excellency Don Luigi Tettamanzi Archbishop Emeritus of the Duomo of Milan, Fernando Alonzo, Lady Sandra Bates, His Eminence Grand Master Leonardo Zagami, Count of Suzzara E. Bonazzi, Mario Mazzoleni, and the world’s strongest man five time title winner V. Shavinka.
He made many tromp-oil in Alzano Lombardo, Bormio and Rome. Grafic illustrator, Crafter, Painter. Dress Designer and antique trade.
The local newspaper claims “Torri, a must see” and “ the picture of Torri [...] shows us the ‘900[...] monumental and poetic” in 2002 said “wonderful oil Colours and fine execution on canvas [...]”
The gallery of modern art of Bergamo said about him “his work is neo realism, romantic and post futuristic, he wants to paint the truth before modern dynamism”
His work has been published in magazines such as La Palme and other fashion industry, he has worked around 48 countries around the world and collaborates with international street artists
Torri works as a freelancer for different fashion masons. During the years have become an expert in textile.
